Signal ground
All devices on the same network segment must have a unified signal ground to avoid common mode interference.
 
In centralized power supply, connect the DC negative poles of all power supplies on the same network segment (including the built-in power supply of communication equipment) directly to form a common signal ground. At this time, the signal ground is the DC power ground
 
When a single home supplies power independently, connect the ground (black wire) pins of all bus devices on the same network segment together to form a common signal ground
 
The solution of the terminal resistance is shown in the figure above. If multiple devices are connected in parallel, please connect them to the 485+ and 485 of the last 485 device and connect a 120 ohm terminal resistance to improve the communication quality.
