QHY5III485C uses Sony IMX485 back-illuminated processor, currently only available in color version. It has a large target surface of 1/1.2 inch, which is equivalent to the chip area of four 5III462 or two 5III178. With a true 4k resolution of 3840*2160, a clearer picture can be obtained. In the high-pixel full-resolution mode, native video data output with a maximum of about 45fps can still be achieved. The resolution of QHY5III485C is 16:9, which is equivalent to the mainstream video output ratio. With its native high resolution, 485C can play a special role in recording astronomical videos and astronomical popular science live broadcasts. At the same time, QHY5III485C is specially equipped with 128MB DDR cache. In non-video output mode, DDR cache can effectively alleviate the transmission pressure caused by high-resolution large data volume and reduce information loss.
Back-illuminatedThe back-illuminated CMOS device reduces the size of the circuit structure around the photosensitive area, so compared to the front-illuminated type, a larger full well charge can be obtained under the same pixel area.
All-day camera modeQHY5III485C comes with a 2.5mm fisheye lens. Combined with high-resolution features, it can realize all-sky cameras and other functions and gameplay.
